How do you know if your home is being valued to include these things? Learn the methods available to appraisers to derive value and how they determine important efficiency improvements a contribution to home value. This session will highlight how energy professionals play an integral role in identifying and quantifying the energy saving performance of a home, and help builders and home buyers with appraisal challenges- potentially increasing borrowing power based on the value of the energy efficiency improvements. Participants will create their own appraisal addendum report for future projects for lenders or appraisers, and walk away knowing how to best work with an appraiser and all the data that you want them to know for your project.
